Kiilto Hohto Hood

This black Hohto Hood is hand-knitted by Myssy Grannies in Pöytyä Finland from 100% Finnsheep wool. The yarn is hand-dyed and due to the dyeing process there may be a slight variation in the colors.

Once upon a time there was a very special winter weather that made everything shimmer in a soft light surrounded by a rare winter mist. On an exceptionally cold day like this you should wrap yourself in a soft and fluffy woolly hood that is hand-knitted and traditionally geared here in Pöytyä.   

And if you wondered what does this word hohto mean, it means shimmer in Finnish. So shine and shimmer like the fields of Aura river valley!

All of our garments are made from Finnsheep wool, produced in conjunction with our responsible partners. Similar in softness to Merino, the fiber's overlapping scales point inward making the yarn particularly soft, and in our opinion, there is no finer wool in the world!
