Albireo - Breaking Boundaries

The Albireo system is a double star in the northern sky. It’s best known for the striking color contrast between its two stars. However, this Myssy collection is not about astronomy, it is about breaking boundaries. Once upon a time in the eighties the first ever observatory was built by a village society operating in Varkaanvuori hill, right next to our current headquarters. This observatory was a passion project of one visionary man, a local teacher called Veijalainen. The telescope and observatory were both built by volunteer workers of the Haveri society. We are inspired by this crazy effort, team spirit and the boundaries crossed by making it all come into realization. 

Albireo is no basic beanie. The last time hats like these were in fashion it was the early 90’s when the observatory was still operating. This double colored hat has a multicolored pom pom with an astronomical spirit. You can wear this beanie conventionally rolled or let it hang loose with the pom pom jumping around.
