Tutta, born in 1948, lives in Raisio and has been a Myssy Granny since Spring 2021. Tutta fell in love with knitting in 2013 when she retired. Before the career of a Myssy Granny she worked in the culture field. Handcrafts have always been always a delight for Tutta but she also enjoys music and reading detective stories during her freetime.
Tutta says it’s a treat to knit Finnsheep wool as it nurtures and cherishes hands. Also, no more pondering on what to knit and to whom, as you always have something to work on.

Some years ago, a photo with cool grannies in the leather jacket caught my eyes on Instagram. Oh, what an interesting shop selling the products knitted by those cool grannies. I was very impressed how the team produce those wools ! Since then, I am following Myssy.
Later on Instagram, I have found a Myssy granny with nice pair of eyeglasses and I was inspired by her style. Then, coincidentally I’ve found her again on a YouTube channel by Japanese ladies in Sweden. It is you, Tutta. In the video, she showed her beautiful home.
The other day, finally I made my first purchase, Myssy’s iconic Muffi beanie. What a surprise, it was knitted by Tutta! It’s really a serendipitous surprise!
I love my Muffi beanie, its colour, texture, firm yet fluffy wool, and its simple design. I chose Moss Green. This is not my usual colour, but I did it right. It’s a bit early to use it in my area, south Europe, but it will bring a warmness in every winter. Thank you, Tutta! Thank you, Myssy Team!

Last weekend, on my first trip to Finland (Helsinki) I purchased one of the light gray hats you knit. I love it so much that I now hope winter lasts a bit longer so I can continue to wear the the hat several more times before putting it away for next winter. I much prefer summer to winter, so the fact that I am hoping continued winter weather says a great deal. :-) Thank you and happy knitting!
