These light grey Jäkälä Myssy Shorts are hand-knitted in the world's Myssy capital, Pöytyä, by Myssy Grannies using 100% Finnish sheep wool. The color is a natural mix of different colors of wool

Introducing the mother of all shorts, the Myssy shorts. Or what did you think that the ancient Finnish Finns wore the under the dress in winter and on the beach in the summer? With these Tapio shorts, you’ll make a statement whether on a business trip to the Big City or relaxing on the couch at home. These shorts have been a long-standing dream of ours, and the result is so close to perfection that we’re still amazed at how they can be both so striking and so comfortable to wear.

High -waisted shorts sit well and land beautifully.

Production

The shorts are 100% Finnish sheep's wool. The wool comes from Finnish sheep farms and is spun and washed in Finland. The threads are hand -colored at the head of the hat.

All our products are knitted by local retired ladies, known as Myssy Grannies. You can check your own Myssy item to see who knitted it, allowing you to connect with the story of its maker!

Size
