This cloudberry yellow Hilla Kuohu Polo KnitKit contains all the materials needed to knit your own turtleneck sweater. The yarn is made of 100% Finnsheep wool, produced in conjunction with our responsible partners. The yarn is hand-dyed and due to the dyeing process there may be a slight variation in the colors.

The Kuohu Polo is knitted seamlessly from the bottom up, so the shoulder shaping and sleeve decreases are done all at once. This requires focus and careful attention to the instructions, but for someone who has knitted a few sweaters before, it’s not overwhelming. This seamless knitting technique ensures the sweater is as neat as possible. The Polo is knitted in stockinette stitch, and only at the finishing stage is the knit turned inside out, and the turtleneck collar is knitted to complete the project. The Kuohu Polo has less ease than the Kuohu Sweater, but the feel and look are of the same guaranteed quality.

Note! Needles are not included, as most knitters already have them at home. If you need needles, be sure to add them to your cart. The best tip from our Grannies is to knit the Kuohu Polo with 8 mm 40 cm needles. The entire sweater can be knitted with short 40 cm needles, but you can also purchase 8 mm needles if you prefer to knit the sleeves with those. Of course, you can also knit using the magic loop method with long needles. If your knitting is particularly loose, 7 mm needles might be a better option. The sleeve cuffs and collar are knitted with 5 mm needles. More needle options are available here.
