Voima by Virtain, Bulky Finnsheep Yarn 100g/skein.

The yarn is made of 100% Finnsheep wool, produced in conjunction with our responsible partners. Natural colors are created by carding natural wool colors together and dyed ones are hand-dyed at Myssyfarmi Headquarters.
4ply Bulky weight yarn is fast to knit and that makes it suitable for beginners aswell. 
Similar in softness to Merino, the fiber's overlapping scales point inward making the yarn particularly soft, and in our opinion, there is no finer wool in the world!

At Myssyfarmi this yarn is being used for example to Lato Sweater and Myssy Hoodie. Natural colors 22 €/100g and hand-dyed 25 €/100g.

We have used this yarn for Tähkä Cardigan and A Viikko Sweater.

Due to the small amount, the yarns sometimes have a slight variation in the thickness of the thread. The colored yarns have hand -dyeing the vividness of color.

Tip on the amount required: Viikko Sweater 500-800g, Tähkä-knit jacket S size 800g, M-L size 800-900g and XL size 900-1000g.

Huolto-ohjeet

All our garments are made of 100% Finnsheep wool and dyed by hand here at our Farm. Wool is a natural material that keeps itself clean. The lanolin - wool’s grease - naturally repels both dirt and water, hence it is not necessary to wash your Myssy garments. 

You can freshen up your garment by airing it out. However, if your Myssy product does get dirty or stretches out, it can be carefully hand-washed or machine-washed with a high-quality wool program. The garment should be dried flat and shaped while still wet. This way the product will recover its original appearance. Use special wool detergent.

Note: Myssy products cannot be washed in regular low-temperature washing machine programs. Only a high-quality wool program is acceptable for washing your Myssy, this way the water temperature is increased in proper increments, and the garment won’t get felted.
