Organic Food from Myssyfarmi

Myssyfarmi's organic food products are the organic turnip rapeseed oil, peas, pea crush and pea flour. Myssyfarmi’s organic fields grow beautiful Largo winter turnip rape, used for creating the great taste of our cold pressed "Luomurypsiöljy" organic turnip rapeseed oil in our own small pressing plant. Our oil was selected as the Organic Product of the Year 2015 in Finland in professional kitchen use. The criteria for the prize was the taste of the oil, which was regarded as being "light years away from the competitors". This oil withstands heating, but it really shines just as it is on a fresh salad or potatoes.

Our farm’s pea products were originally launched as a Finnish equivalent for soy crumbles, and they do contain as much protein as the average mincemeat - 18/100grams. You can create tasty organic pea soup with our traditional 'Hulda-herne' peas and splendid organic veggie balls or even risotto with our 'Hernerouhe' pea crush. Our novelty, 'Hernejauho' pea flour, is especially suitable for baking or replacing chickpeas. And nothing beats the organic pea pancakes made by our myssy grannies, Myssymummot!
