    Satu Helmi, born in 1951, lives in Yläne and has been a Myssy Granny since Summer 2021. She knitted her first sweater when she was 12 years old, her teacher was doubtful she could make it, but she proved the teacher wrong.  In her free time, Satu loves to spend time outside in her garden or in forests picking berries and foraging for mushrooms.

    Satu says that the best part of being Myssy Granny is that knitting never ends.

    Dear Satu, my friend socks made by you arrived this morning, thank you, and I love them as do all the family. I’ll have to keep my eyes on them I think or they’ll be walking in someone else’s feet!
