Myssy Granny Ilta was born in 1951 in Turku. She joined the Myssy Granny team in 2021. Before becoming a Myssy Granny, Ilta worked as a kindergarten teacher, daycare director, and regional manager. She learned to knit at home with her mother and godmother. In addition to knitting, she also enjoys making silver jewelry. In her free time, besides crafting, Ilta likes to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and friends, enjoying both physical activities and cultural pursuits.
