As knitting is our passion, not a profession, helping hands are needed. Myssymummot, our five grannies from Pöytyä, are our knitting factory. If you were expecting to find a bunch of grey-haired ladies, we are sorry to disappoint you - that was their mothers. Terttu, Pirkko, Ritva, Outi and Anja are the modern grandmas, who love to knit, but they perhaps also love to dance, ski and travel some.
Approximately once a month we all gather for ompeluseura, a knitting evening. A lot of coffee is drank, gossip passed around and new myssys taken into production. We laugh a lot while knitting.
We promise you never to make myssys in the Asian factories, only at the Finnish farms. Myssymummot are irreplaceable part of myssy and proud of their work. This is why they sign the myssys they make.
